Editor’s Comments:  Since the withdrawal of Exped poles from the U.K market there has been no replacement for the for the Exped Quad which was popular with Alpinists for its 49cm pack size.
The new Fizan Compact 4 not only replaces the old Exped, but its also lighter and the maximum extended length is 50mm longer, making it more useful for taller people.
