Editor’s Comments: OK, the Black diamond Icon is very powerful, that speaks for itself, but I like the adjustability of the light level and whereas most lamps are far too bright on their lowest settings the Icon goes right down to four Lumens for reading maps and books in the tent and just milling about the campsite. It is for this reason the batteries could last up to 250 hours.
There is one, simple control buton and it is big enough to be operated while wearing (most) gloves.... well done Black Diamond!
